After a rigorous interview process that began with more than 700 talented applicants, these students were chosen for their excellence in academic accomplishment, moral character, leadership, and commitment to service—the four criteria that form the foundation for their transformative journey in The Hesburgh-Yusko Scholars Program.

As Hesburgh-Yusko Scholars, they will receive four years of funding of $25,000 each year toward the cost of attending Notre Dame, and they also will receive four fully funded Summer Enrichment Experiences, designed to help them explore and develop their passions. This summer, each of our 26 scholars will complete an Outward Bound wilderness expedition for their Wilderness Leadership summer experience.
